Chicken Salad Chick Commemorates Carmel Restaurant Grand Opening with Charity Donation

Fast-casual eatery continues commitment to “Spread Joy, Enrich Lives and Serve Others” by supporting Merciful H.E.L.P. Center

Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, recently opened its fourth restaurant in Indianapolis with its Carmel location on Wednesday, May 18. Located at 12751 N Pennsylvania Street, Chicken Salad Chick Carmel celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by brand leadership, local employees and the OneZone Chamber of Commerce. Honoring its mission to serve others, the company aligned with Merciful H.E.L.P for the opening to support initiatives that directly impact the local community.

Grand opening day saw more than 100 guests arrive before the restaurant opened for a chance to win free Chicken Salad Chick for a year. Two days of pre-opening Friends & Family dining events generated a $1,300 donation on behalf of Chicken Salad Chick, received by Jayne Slaton, Director of Merciful H.E.L.P Center – a local ministry serving the community through food distributions, workforce development, housing assistance and other life-saving programs in Hamilton County. Funds from the partnership will be used to support their food pantry feeding local families.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring appreciation and support for the newest Chicken Salad Chick location in Indiana,” said Chicken Salad Chick President and CEO Scott Deviney. “Merciful H.E.L.P. is a great organization that aids the community in meaningful ways, and we are honored to provide assistance to their continued work in Carmel.”

Chicken Salad Chick offers over a dozen delicious specialty chicken salad recipes scratch-prepared daily. In addition to the restaurant’s signature chicken salad flavors, other menu items include fresh salads, sandwiches, sides and soups, all available from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Leading the Carmel restaurant team is District Manager Ben White and Store General Manager Troy Lyvers.
